Tuesday, February 10, 2009 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM (GMT)
MedTech offers the potential for high returns growth, but often in a shorter timeframe than life sciences. An investment in bio-tech may take between four to seven years to mature compared with as little as two or three years in MedTech. That is an increasingly attractive prospect for investors in the current market. The BIA and NESTA are pleased to announce a joint MedTech Investing Forum taking place on the 10 February 2009, 4-8pm in Central London. The afternoon will start with a panel session of investors who will explore their investment interests and will discuss case studies to illustrate their points. Following the panel session, a board level industry leader of a major MedTech company will give a perspective on the current landscape and the event will close with a MedTech success story...someone who's been there. Speaker names to be announced shortly. Networking and drinks will follow.
This exciting early evening event will bring together the UK's leading MedTech investors, over 30 MedTech companies and a host of companies looking to in-licensing or acquire MedTech technologies and know-how.
